Integrative Health and Wellness Coaching
THE MIND AND BODY WORK SO BEAUTIFULLY TOGETHER, AND THAT EFFECTS EVERY ASPECT OF LIFE.
My personal interest is merged with my professional passion
Tiffany - Integrative Health and Wellness Coach
Welcome! My name is Tiffany and I am an Integrative Health and Wellness Coach, trained at Duke Integrative Medicine. I am also nationally board certified for health and wellness coaching (NBHWC). My husband and I opened Excel Psychiatric Associates in 2012. It has been an incredible journey that has allowed me to merge my personal interest with my professional passions. In addition to being a Health Coach, I am also a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based practices.
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Social Work, a Master's Degree in Social Work, and a Graduate Certificate in Gerontology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. I have worked in hospital, community, and home settings. In those settings, I realized how important a comfortable environment is to a person's success. I have tailored my professional practice to allow telephone sessions, face to face teleconferences, and face-to-face office visits.
The mind and body work beautifully together and that effects every aspect of life, from losing weight to improving relationships or decreasing stress. My interest in Integrative Health began when I noticed the physical impacts that depression and anxiety have on the body. As I explored the correlation it became clear that there was a need to bridge that gap. I am grateful for opportunity to partner with my clients and help them foster these life-changing transformations.

What are appropriate topics for health coaching?
Any concern that gets in the way of taking care of your optimal health is the perfect subject with which to begin coaching. Therefore, any topic you want to bring up that you think will contribute to your optimal health is an appropriate topic for Integrative Health Coaching.
“My experience with Dr. Chepke has been nothing short of miraculous! Along with Tiffany Chepke, I have been taken care of with great compassion and a desire to help me in my quest for a healthy life, mentally. My condition has been up and down for years and working with Dr Chepke and Tiffany has been both enlightening and encouraging. I am forever grateful for their care and understanding and their genuine concern for my well-being. As far as I am concerned, no other team could come close!”

What is Integrative Health Coaching?
Integrative Health Coaching effectively motivates and supports health behavior change through a structured partnership between the client and coach. A coach is like a "personal trainer," except the focus will be on your whole self. The coach helps the client develop and realize their optimal health vision through inquiry, personal discovery and accountability.
Are there health behavior changes that you have wanted to make but either haven't known how to begin or haven't been successful making these changes in the past? Has a new health concern arisen?
As a health coach, I will listen to your concerns, reflect on your thoughts and ask insightful questions to help motivate you to make the changes you desire. I will spend time exploring what is most important to you in your health and allow you to choose your course of action. We will work in partnership to identify obstacles and create strategies for moving forward. As your coach, I will support you in tracking your weekly progress and hold you accountable for your commitments. Additionally, I will provide resources for making healthy behavior changes.
